Health & body

There are many resources available that look at issues of women’s health and bodies from a feminist and positive perspective. One of the most established resource is from Our Bodies Ourselves (OBOS). The first edition of Our Bodies, Ourselves was published in 1970, and has been consistently updated and shared with women’s rights organisations and advocates around the world.

You can access excerpts from the latest edition of the book by visiting the OBOS Women’s Health Information and Resource centre.

It includes sections on Taking Care of Ourselves, Relationships and Sexuality, Sexual Health, Reproductive Choices, Child-bearing, Growing Older, Medical Problems and Procedures, and Knowledge is Power.
